One good place is BG Micro (download their flyer from www.bgmicro.com). The Hitachi controller is pretty standard and will be included on the LCD display. What it means is that it provides a standard interface for you to use in writing to the display. In BGMicro's technical documentation section you should be able to download the datasheet for this controller. Most PIC books have a section on using LCD displays.
