I happened to see one of his lectures at the WCW less then a year ago. It
was a real joy to hear a man talk about mathematics and logic in such a
clear, amusing and inspiring way. We indeed owe him a lot.

A pity that this Dutchman did not stay in the Netherlands, I never had
the opportunity to hear him lecturing.
