The only time I ever needed to use the reply-to address was with an ISP that didn't let you send mail with any address but the ISPs given mail address in the 'to' field. I used the reply-to to redirect the responses to the address I wanted. Of course, I dropped that ISP a couple months after they implemented that stupid idea.
