Actually, I have seen this done many times!!! While working at IFCO, dealers wanted to return product that was perfectly good. If they did so, they got charged. So they got smart. Started sticking the dog collars in the uwave. Blew the tops off of them exposing the die. Might have been due to trapped moisture.
