For 3 wire leaded 5mm types:-
The best ones I was able to locate were Adilam (?)  LU5351-JM from Memec
(phone # in Auckland 9 636 5984)

Not superbright & when both colours are on,  the actual viewed colour
depends on the angle somewhat but they were the best around at the time
(~18 months ago).

Does anyone know of a 3mm or 5mm bright/superbright
bicolour LED ? I've looked through various catalogues
and wonder if they in fact exist. All of the ones I've found
so far are in the low mCd range
