Well, that was a message from a while ago... The problem with an IR
sensor for this application is that you need to know the temperature
of the wine, not the temperature of the surface of the wine.  Now,
that said, you should be able to put it inside some form of clear
plastic tubing that doesn't absord IR, and put that in the wine... As
to configureation/calibration, it could be kinda tough to do...  I'm
not sure what you'd need at this stage.  I defer to someone on the
list with more experience in this area.
