Kat,

I forgot where to find it, but www.qnx.com looks good (;
http://www.qnx.com/developer/download/free/ is where you want to
look.

You'll want to read up on alot of the documentationn before you get
too worried about the 195MB that you need to download.  That's a
development platform for Qnx.  Since Qnx is designed for embedded
apps, it's got a much smaller compile space, but I think you custom
compile it for each environment you want to run it in.  Note that it
has optional built-in media processing functions, which should allow
its use as an Mp3 player platform etc.
