Has anyone used 4emgr.com. They are a contract manufacture / assembly house. They have the same quote engine as 4pcb.com and obviously a similar name. Yet, the guys at 4pcb seem to deny any connection to them. It is curious that I first found them from a link at 4pcb.com. Then I lost their address and wrote my sells rep at 4pcb an email asking for their name. He did not know who I was talking about. Eventually, they sent me an email (you have to sign up there too) and I found them again. Maybe they just happened to use the same web site design service. Anyway, I am choosing between two contract manufactures -- eManufacturing, Inc.. (www.4emfg.com) and RNB Enterprises, Inc. (www.rnbent.com). Does any have experiences with either of these two companies or have another contract manufacture they would like to recommend? BTW, I like Advanced Technologies (4pcb.com) a lot. I have placed two orders with them and both came out great. These were my first pcbs ever and I like that they have enough information on their web site for a newbie to figure out how to do it. One thing about their pricing; you will notice that you can get 10 boards made for about the same price as three. 10 boards, double sided, solder mask both sides, silk screen top only, 3.5" x 3.125", 3-day, $273 to my door. --BobG -----Original Message----- From: pic microcontroller discussion list [mailto:PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU]On Behalf Of Pic Dude Sent: Wednesday, August 14, 2002 10:32 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [EE]: 4pcb.com Dale Botkin scribbled: > ... as soon as i can figure out how to > panelize a bunch of small boards onto a larger one in Eagle. > ... When I was doing the PCB comparison, I would mention that the boards would be panelized, and some companies would ask me things like "what spacing do you want between boards?" etc. I'd have to clarify that I would have the whole layout already panelized and send it to them as one board. Apparently many companies seem to be doing the panelization for you.
