Jim, those are referred to as High Power Microwave (HPM) weapons. Aviation Week & Space Technology has been running some articles on them. Apparently both the US and the UK are ready to deploy them on unmanned platforms. Not sure about the other publication but AW&ST is highly regarded in the aerospace world.
