Let's see...I just bought a half dozen new 9 volt wall warts. Marked Condor 9volt DC @ 300ma. Put the VOM on the connector (unloaded) and I get 23 volts! Put my DVM across the connector and get 22.6 volts. Checked the label on the wall wart just to make sure they weren't 100 vac units. Placed a 33 ohm load (~300ma) and got 10.9 volts. Placed a 50 ohm load (~200ma) and got 12.8 volts. Plugged it into the Warp13a and measured across the 220uf filter cap. 18.8 volts..... Not sure how much current the programmed PIC draws when programming but I think these 9 volt wall warts are within Warp13 specs.
