We used to use the 3M stuff to attach cable mounts to a medical=
 device
used in the operating room. I have seen a technician swing the=
 approx.
5lb. monitor around his head by it's attached 6' cable and not=
 separate
itself.

We affectionately called this adhesive "Gorilla Grip"...
