Hi all. After banging my head against my own code with no results, I've
been looking for other code. The code at
http://www.swampgas.com/robotics/irremote/
looks promising. The code on http://www.k7on.com/robotics/maxremote.htm
looks good as well, but it's in C, and I only do assembler. I will be
doing some control things on the PIC itself, so all I need is receive
code, no RS232 or anything like that. Ideally, some routine that I can
look at and figure out where the output byte is placed would be cool.
There was some discussion about this about a month or so back, did
anything ever come of it? Does anyone have some easily usable Sony
remote receiver code? I have much data about the actual format of the
commands, I just suck at bit banging a receiver (which is essentially
what I'm doing).

Any help/pointers will be appreciated!
