Oh boy, I feel a new wave of PIC-aircraft-cruise-control discussions coming on. :-) Congrats on the license! Awesome feeling isn't it? I've got my PPL about 12 years ago and instrument about 5 ago. Also did most of my CPL, and was looking at my logbook this weekend, realizing I need only 4 hrs and 2 x-ctry's to go for the CPL. The intention was to get my CFI so that I could find an excuse to fly more. So what's the state of GA nowadays since everything went haywire last year? I'd really like to get the CFI, but only if there are still students out there. Be safe out there!
