I was in Dallas on a business trip 3 weeks ago. The closest class B airspace to me is Philadelphia and takes about 30 minutes to reach. So, I rented a plane from Addison and a local instructor showed me the ropes in that area. After 2 touch-n-go's in Spinx (I think that's the spelling), we got clearance to fly right over the top of DFW at 3,000 feet! I had the video camera ready and got some footage while the instructor did the flying back to Addison. What a day!
