I am searching for Charles Ader, the copyright holder from the code on
this page:

I would like to know what, if any, restrictions exist on the copyright
of the CRC-16 code if I wanted to use it in commercial and/or Open
Source applications.  If you are still on the PIC list, please email
me.

BTW, what is the general policy for code on the piclist.com site?  Is
it considered in the public domain, unless stated otherwise?
