When doing my last project I didnt have the ICD hooked up, so I would use the PICSTART to store data to the EEPROM and then read it out to verify that I had read correctly, and also wrote to it, then used the PICSTART to read it out to verify it. Now...I have this project using the ICD. I thought I could do the same thing, in that I would open up the EEPROM window, and be able to fill the locations with a value. If I then use the programmer interface it doesnt seem to work. Just thinking...I wonder (I dont have the setup in front of me now) if filling the EEPROM and modifying the data...that actually doesn't write out to the EEPROM? So basic question is, how does one modify the values in it using the ICD. I think I might just be missing a step or two. Also, the clock freq is diff for this project, but that should not affect the read? In other words, I did a cut n paste from the other project to this one, and it doesnt seem to be working correctly yet...while it did work fine in the other one. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com -- http://www.piclist.com hint: PICList Posts must start with ONE topic: [PIC]:,[SX]:,[AVR]: ->uP ONLY!
