Thanx alot for ur reply upon this message and the old one .... I think that the MCP2150 can not communicate with another MCP2150 ... for example if I have 2 boards containning MCP2150 in each other and I want to send from one board to the other one and then the other one will reply sending a reply message then the MCP2150 will not work as I think .... what kind of IrDA stuff I have to do in the software .... as mentioned in the datasheet all that u need is just to connect the chip to an IrDA tansceiver and to an RS232 or UART ..... so what I did is to drop the RS-232 part from the schematic from microchip and put a PIC16F873 that can send serial data but I got nothing at all :((((((( ..... I will try the one you sent me ..... really it seems simple but .... thanx again ....
