Hello List!
   Anyone of the experts here has made a simple circuit to test the MCP2120
.... really I need this bit Encoder/Decoder to work . The problem is that I
am a programmer with simple basics of electronics ...I don`t know about the
circuit design so I am looking for a simple working circuit ....I have
checked all the datasheets and the App. Notes but I couldn`t find even one
simple circuit  .... I tried to use the schematic of the MCP2120 Dev. board
from Microchip and delete the unwanted parts but still I can not get it
working ..... I `m gonna be crazy :(((((  .... the serial transmision is
working well but the IrDA transceiver or the chip MCP2120 is not working
properly .... Any good Engr. who can help please .....

I am using the following parts:
1-MCP2120 with Osc. 7.3728 (9600 bps)
2-PIC16F873 with Osc 4MHz
3-IrDA transceiver HSDL1001
4-LCD to display data.

would I get this circuit working? I am just wondering!!?
