Well, maybe that isn't the correct term in english. That is NC (numerically controlled) machine used for making holes and grooves in tool making. You have steel plate ( future tool) submerged in special oil and copper electrode attached to the head of the machine. The head moves electrode near to the plate. An arc is created, it melts away the material and oil washes it away. In time you get a hole in the plate, shaped like your electrode. The machine itself controls current, movement,...
