Anybody received PICs with bad EEPROMS? I have a 16F876 out of a batch of 30 that just refuse to keep stuff in the EEPROM. When my program starts it test the EEPROM and if it is empty it tells me via the LCD. (I clear the first byte when I program the EEPROM and test it on startup). I also had a 16F870 that had a similar problem but I was in a hurry and dumped it before I can test it properly. Is this a common thing?
