Yes that is so, and there have been discussions on here in the past about this, and the dangers of opening the microwave with the water in a suprheated state because it hasn't done the bubbling bit. Oh well, it will just have to be a mug of water with some coffee in it after all. Gee, the things we have to go through to test components.
