The MCP2150 may be a better choice. The 2120 just does the bit
encoding/decoding while the 2150 does that plus all the IrDA protocol
stuff. With the 2150 you just wire it up and it will talk to a PC
IrDA port just like you would over a cable (except you need to check
the RTS line before sending).
