You could always get a large Xilinx FPGA and build a CPU on it, then port Linux to that, and get more than 10MIPS... Not quite the same, I know, but very similar when you think about it... Incidentally, Am I the only one that's interested in the Piclist MCU idea? You know, where we all band together, and go buy ourselves a custom designed MCU? - --Brendan -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGPfreeware 6.5.8 for non-commercial use iQA/AwUBPUmJaQVk8xtQuK+BEQKCPACgxw+i5k5sQ1WS98tRN3xXEp+OUm4An2KE N0lHQuU1SwOzGoqZVZzvKgpj =0D6d -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- http://www.piclist.com hint: The list server can filter out subtopics (like ads or off topics) for you.
