Did you realy read the book? I did (though maybe it was a previous
COCOMO book). It struck me as a model that fitted N data point perfectly
provided that the model contained at least N parameters. And the range
of software projects used as input was not impressive, most banking and
administrative, no real-time, embedded, etc.
