And you could put a miniature camera on "Earth" to see what the planets,
eclipses, etc. would look like.  And you could...  And you could... :-)
Sounds like a neat project!

such an item would be a welcome donation to any school....and a terrific
conversation piece. The word toy shall not be used. The sun could be lit
with diffused UB leds, and sensors on the moon could detect the phase/
position ratio...

Just one of those untamed rabbits that crawl up me from time to time..
