Raccoons are cute, but not when they get trapped in the garage and they
destroy the rubber seal and the light sensor.

These little rascals took it apart and ate half of the circuitry.

Ok, you can't by pass the sensor, if it quits working you have to open, and
close the door manually.

There are two wire coming from the main door controller, to the IR receiver,
then two wires that run over head to the IR transmitter.

What is the main controller looking for? and how is the signal sent over two
wires that must supply DC power. What is the DC power supplied?

I have searched the internet and found nothing. (for $50.00 dollars to
replace it, I can put a PIC on a board and have it up and running in a day,
if I knew how it works)
