Brandon, Pacific C does not generate PIC code, so I changed the tag to EE (maybe it should be OT). The list needs a SW tag. I've used Pacific C once or twice, just to see what it was like. If my memory servers me, it built a few DOS applications just fine, but that's all it really does. There are several others that are free (at least for some kind of use) that generate 32-bit code and windows code. I list some of the ones that I've tried at http://michael.dipperstein.com/free.html -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Brandon Stewart [mailto:brandonstewart@ATTBI.COM] Sent: Monday, July 01, 2002 7:43 PM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: [PIC]:Pacific C compiler???? I found that the Pacific C compiler off of the high-tech c web page is free. Has anyone ever used this? How good is it?
