I've had the same thing with jewelers/watchmakers US tanks, and asked the list a couple of years ago with no real result. Those connections to the ceramic are buggers to fix. The last one I had to try and repair was a very old valve job that really was on its last legs all round and eventually got tossed - cheaper and less fuss to get a new one. I did fax the mftr in New Jersey (a man called Richard Less, who I'm guessing doesn't appreciate hypocoristics, look it up) and they could supply a new pair of matched transducers for a horrible price. The best I've ever managed was with conductive epoxy held on by silicone gunk, but it's never the same as the way the factory does it.
