According to the RS232 interface schematic, Pin 6 on the Interface connector
of the GPS goes to pin 1 of the MAXIM 233 IC. Mine has a Flex PCB connector
which connects to terminals on the side of the can. Pin 6 ( 1 PPS signal) of
the interface connector is not connected on this flex PCB, but pin 7 ( RXD2)
is. Is pin 6 the correct pin to use, or did they really mean pin 7?

Anyone know the reason for using this signal that eventually ends up at the
DB9 pin 6 of the PC COM port?

If anyone can verify that the schematic is correct, please let me know.
