Just ran a search for you thru my Piclist folder and Deleted
Items folder (which I have not purged in about 2.5 weeks),
but did not come up with anything.

In the past couple months, I've also noticed that with 2 of
my messages.

But then again, with the number of posts I've been making, I
can't really complain about a 99.99999% reliability rate :-)

[And leaves the discussion open to the folks who want to
respond with number of crashes per day if we tolerate
99.99999% reliability for things like air flights, etc.]

it seems that some postings do not make it into the list and/or into the
archives. I have two messages specifically that went out and were never
seen by either the listserv archive on Google, nor by jkeyser's piclist
archive.

Can anyone confirm that some of his/her messages were stopped by something
or disappeared, apparently depending on content and/or other factors ?

The message that disappeared contained the phrase:

in a thread 'Re: [EE]: PLL' about one week ago. I guess I do not need to
explain why this is important to me, nor why others should be concerned if
it is indeed true.

At present I have no idea what ate the message. Most likely an over-eager
mail filter.
