Well, the test went off well today, after initial problems of using too long
a supply cable, and getting a brownout as a result (sigh) and having too
reflective a surface fro proper tracking (sigh) it went off withou a hitch,
the CCD in the mouse worked fine, and the PIC seemed not to be having any
ill effects due to being in a high magnetic field.

I'll keep everyone advised as time progresses, if there are any difficulties
encountered due to life in a magnetic field.

Ugh, I keep wanting to use a realy here... Like that's going to work...
