These units come set as TAIP and you must use the DOS program to change it to
NMEA. Get the program that matches the firmware(mine is 5.10) and part
number(on white tag). In NMEA it only outputs GGA and VTG messages. The
GPSSK program can force more NMEA messages out of it while is is running.
