I am looking for a source for a modest quantity (100-150 feet) of one to
three pair aerial (preferred) or direct burial telephone cable. Anybody have
any idea where I can find this? I'm also looking for NIDs (Network Interface
Devices), the little box the telco installs which contains surge protectors.
Alternatively just the approrpriate surge protectors for telco lines would
be fine.

I have been asked to install an on-campus phone system at the facility where
we hold our church summer camp. I will be using a small Panasonic KSU
(KX-T308) and there will be phones in three separate buildings, as well as
in a box by the poll. I don't want these outside (read lightning-prone)
wires coming into the buildings without appropriate protective devices.
