        TO be fair bgmicro does state shipping will be more if above 4 lbs. I paid
$9.50 for both, a reasonable price if you ask me, but then I do alot of
cross border shipping.

        You are right, you should have expected that, since it's the law. It's good
you didn't use UPS, their "fee" is $35, or more...

        You got lucky, as did I, I paid no fee or taxes on my two GPS units :)
        They do tell you if you ask for shipping first.
