You piqued my interest here . I have I'll get my brother to bring up the book from my parents home and I'll scan the pages. It's got some great bits in it.... how to make gunpowder etc. But then I believe it's possibly older than my dad (? a hand-me-down), and from a similar vintage as my grandmothers recipe for cookies with one of the ingredients being Cocaine! I kid ye not.... It was legal and perfectly respectable back then! Thinking about it, is it a VdGG or a Windshurst (sp?)machine. I can remember it uses vinyl records and glass sheets which rotate against each other..... Glad they're not cellulose nitrate! Big sparks and CN...... Who needs home made gun powder?
