Tal, I'm not Kevin, nor have I used the CCS compiler. I have however used an ICE-2000, MPLAB, and Hi-Tech C on PIC16/17/18 projects. All of the functions which are provided for assembly level debugging are available for source level debugging. In fact, you can switch between the two, which is absolutely invaluable. The only problem that I have found is that the step over function does not work any differently than the step function. -Mike -----Original Message----- From: Tal Dayan [mailto:tal@ZAPTA.COM] Sent: Thursday, June 27, 2002 8:04 AM To: PICLIST@MITVMA.MIT.EDU Subject: Re: [PIC]: Any good C/Asm/Source-Debugger solution ? Kevin, Does the CCS compiler runs with ICE2000 under MPLAB ? If so, does it provides C source level debugging ?
