You don't need RB3 for the ICD. (Just don't enable LVP). Bob Ammerman RAm Systems ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bob Barr" To: Sent: Wednesday, June 26, 2002 7:23 PM Subject: [PIC]: DS1233 vs ICD I'm building a proto board to do ICD debugging with a 16F877 and then switch over to the 16C765 USB chip for the final application. I've put in a multi-pole switch to select between ICD and normal operation. I'm currently planning to switch all of the active ICD signals (RB3, RB6, RB7, MCLR and Vdd). I'm wondering, though, if I should also switch out the DS1233 supervisor chip on the board when I'm running with the ICD. Has anyone run into any conflicts between the ICD and a supervisor chip? I suppose that I could always socket the 1233 and just pull it when debugging but would that really be necessary?
