Hi, i've been fiddling with a few different apps for
making windows help files.

Finally settled on "Help Creator" freeware from
http://www.breittechnologies.com

A very simple and functional interface, WSIWYG (but
pictures not shown until compiled). After struggling
with SOME of the available products from the net
HelpCreator was a dream to use. Especially compared to
a RTF word processor and the M$ Help Workshop, what a
nightmare that was!

HelpCreator compiles the .hlp file itself, no need to
download the M$ help workshop. However I found that
the help project can be completed using Helpcreator
interface, and the files simply run through M$ workshop
at the end to provide the compression.

Just in case people want to make .hlp files and don't
want to go through the headach of downloading lots of
crap over-priced and over-complicated programs like I
did. :o)
