I'm right by Lake Ontario- there should be some stores around that have that sort of thing if I know where to look. (P.S. bronze screen was suggested by someone else- probably the corrosion resistance and high thermal conductivity). Bronze wool would be ideal, I can just stuff the torch handle with it.
