A method used in large aircraft is capacitive sensing - this will give you =
a reading in mass (and hence the actual burn time you have left for the =
fuel.)

I must go look at the old aircraft mech notes to get circuits etc.

So, how could we implement a fuel gauge that was accurate?  I have a few
