We have been running the Mathias Clearview emulator with TDE version =
5.03 and the Hi-Tech Compiler (Ver 7.87 PL2). This was running fine on =
Windows 98 platform.

We recently changed to Windows 2000 and now find we only compile =
projects that reside in the root directory or 1 level below. Any =
directories below this and the TDE reports " Cannot generate SYMBOL =
file, probably due to one or more TOOLS not being setup correctly...".

We reinstalled both hi-tech compiler (PICC.EXE under c:\ht-pic\bin) and =
TDE software.
The path points to the BIN and INCLUDE directories.

Any help appreciated.
