Every time I pull the pin to ground (turn the pot to zero) it reads 0x000. Not 0x002 or 0x001, but 0x000. There must be something else causing it not to drop all the way. But at 320us, it sounds like you're giving it plenty of time. Have you tried 500us just to see?
