I heard somewhere that Polaroid was discontinuing their ranging modules, but www.acroname.com (US) still has them listed as a product to sell. If you can stand the shipping prices it might be a good source for you. An English company, Devantech, also makes some similar ranging modules with lower power requirements, also available through acroname.
