Thanks all for the excellent suggestions that were offered.  I have kept a
log on all of them, some I believe will be useful in future as most pic
mails do.
It took me a while to find the FX, I got through the keywork search of "FX"
and "LPT".  Yes, it is FastLinyx.
I just did close to 2GB of transfer.  The reported speed was around 6MByte
per minute I think.  But it took 10 hour in total.  No problem reported, but
I have yet compare the files and the original.
