All such radiators I have come across use a copper core which is painted on the outer surface. I do not know the copper wall thickness, but it is probably somewhere around 1 to 1.5mm, remember it needs to take a reasonable amount of pressure, what is a radiator cap, something like 15 PSI before it releases pressure?
