Hello Picster Dude - I have a Wintel succes story that is still on-going - I have a Win '95 box with an app written in VB 6 and that box will run for months on end without requiring re-booting - this is on a Pentium 166 complete with sound card, network card, tspe drive, CD-ROM and modem. The app is a time-based audio recorder that pulls in six 1/2 hour segments to disk - then these segments are pulled off via network access. This has been a *most* reliable application and Wintel box ... I might mention I also treated all the interconnects/contacts with my choice of contact enhancer when I built this Wintel box about 5 years ago now ... This system was orignally a WIn 3.1 that I upgraded to Win '95 (OSR 1) too - so it's core legacy really \ goes back further! I have also worked on a group of SCO Unix boxes that occasionally required re-booting ...
