While the piclist is not a wrong place to discuss Jal questions the jallist is probably a better place. To answer your questions: - check the jal documentation for the meaning of the compiler options - the -t option enables a built-in PIC core simulator, which is meant (for me) to test the compiler, and can also be used (by Jal users) to test algorithms. The simulator does not simulate any peripherals, IO etc, so nothing external is needed, and the simulator can not be used to simulate programs that interact with the world outside the PIC. So how do you test at all? see 'pragma test assert'.
