        Why not a gauge who meters the flow of fuel to the tank, and computes this=
 flow against the know quantity of fuel on the tank? If the flow is 3=
 gallons/minute, and the tank has 30 gallons, you have 10 minutes of=
 flight. It is just a matter of counting how much fuel has passed thru the=
 flow meter...

        It cannot be as simple as that, but I cannot see an easier way
