A sign like that would get a lot of curious people attending.
Not that I see a problem with that, but just that it defeats
the purpose of getting only the piclisters together, which
seems to be the intention here.

What you need is something that only piclisters would
understand/recognize, such as t-shirts with "my wages are
$1-a-day" or misspell "your" for "you're".  :-)

Yes, I'm in a trouble-making mood today, especially
considering that I won't even be there.

The trouble is, we would not look any different than all of the other
geeks there.

The schedule is pretty jam packed, what with classes, meals, and events.
I have never seen a serious attempt to gather piclisters together,
although 4 years ago Andy Warren did teach a class on PIC tips, and had
a mention of the PICLIST. He even attributed code clips to Dmitry,
Scott, and others. I also palled around with Andy Kunz one year too. And
Larry Nelson is like a fixture.

I just thought of an idea. Everyone passes through the Microchip store
once or twice. One could make up a simple sign that says 'Piclist
getogether at the east pool Thursday night at 7:00'. If we did something
like that, and folks got a day or two to see it, then it might work. But
you have to find out what the events schedule is before you make the
sign.
