It's not tax, it's a brokerage fee.  American's pay the same thing
buying from Canada or any other country.  You can do your own brokering
and not pay the fee.  Cheaper parts.  :)

There is zero duty on electronics and very little duty on any good at
all.
If your in ontario the most you'll ever pay is 15% for gst and pst.
